Mississippi Department of Public Safety personnel worked with the Louisiana State Police, Oxford Police, University Police and other law enforcement and first responder partners to help keep fans, students and visitors safe during the Ole Miss–LSU game in Oxford, according to a post from the Mississippi Department of Public Safety.
The agencies managed increased traffic and provided security throughout the weekend. The department also thanked personnel who worked long hours behind the scenes and fans who contributed to what it described as a safe and memorable game day.
