Sheriff Joey East is highlighting the Harmontown Food Pantry for its ongoing distribution of food boxes to residents across Harmontown who need additional assistance, according to the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office.
The donation-supported nonprofit also helped provide food and essential supplies to the community when an ice storm left families without power, water or easy access to supplies, the office said.
The sheriff’s office is accepting donations of canned goods for the pantry. People may drop off nonperishable canned goods at LCSO, which will deliver them to the Harmontown Food Pantry.
