K-9 Sarge selected to receive trauma kit from Protection4Paws

K-9 Sarge of the Kemper County Sheriff’s Office has been selected by Protection4Paws to receive an Advanced Trauma Kit.

The specialized kits provide K-9 handlers with medical supplies intended to help treat an injured dog during an emergency until veterinary care can be reached. The Sheriff’s Office said the equipment supports the safety and well-being of law enforcement K-9s.

The office thanked Protection4Paws and its supporters for supporting the mission. Continued support allows the organization to provide kits to additional law enforcement K-9 teams across the country.

The office encouraged people to donate to or share the Protection4Paws campaign.
