D’Iberville police receive donated food and lunch on Sept. 11

The D’Iberville Police Department said its officers received donated food and lunch from community supporters on Sept. 11.

The department thanked WOW, Chick-fil-A, Coca-Cola, SAAD and 1-800-BOARDUP for providing the items and showing appreciation for the officers.

The department said the gestures came on a day honoring the heroes and first responders who died in the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, and reflected the bond between first responders and the communities they serve.
