Jason Plunk stopped by with a hot breakfast for the City of Oxford’s Environmental Services crew, according to the city.
The City of Oxford thanked the crew for its day-to-day work keeping Oxford clean and running smoothly. The city also expressed appreciation to Plunk for showing support for the team and its work.
Jon Ross Myers founded Mississippi News Group in 2013. Before founding the organization, he worked at The Daily Mississippian, The Marion Salute and The Southern Sentinel. A Mississippi journalist and writer based in Ripley, he received second place in poetry in the 2025 William Faulkner Literary Competition for "The Garden."
