Hernando Spooky Season LEGO contest accepting entries through 9/20
Bricks & Minifigs Hernando and the Hernando Main Street Chamber of Commerce are accepting entries for the Spooky Season Community MOC Contest in Hernando. Entry is open through 9/20 for $25, and participants receive a free bag of bulk LEGO pieces and a baseplate of their choice.
Community voting is scheduled for the week of 9/21-9/29. The first-place winner will receive a custom-curated set of spooky minifigures with a display stand. Second place receives LEGO set 40883 Halloween Skull Candle, and third place receives LEGO set 40822 Jack-O'-Lantern Pickup Truck.
Anyone who submits a build by 9/20 will also be entered into a raffle for LEGO set 40825 Halloween Wreath.
Contest builds must be no taller than 34 LEGO bricks, must be the entrant's own creation rather than a repurposed existing LEGO set, and must use 100% LEGO pieces and parts.
