The south end of County Road 401 where it meets Highway 7 South will be closed every day from Monday through Saturday, between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., until further notice, according to the Lafayette County Sheriff's Office.
Residents along County Road 401 and drivers who use the road to reach Highway 7 are advised to plan another route during the closure hours. The sheriff's office also urged motorists to watch for crews and equipment and slow down near the closure.
