Temporary closure planned for Lizelia Road on Sept. 10
Lizelia Road will be temporarily closed from 8 a.m. to noon Thursday, Sept. 10, in the 7400–7540 blocks near the intersection of Old Country Club Drive and East Lauderdale County Road, according to a notice from the Lauderdale County Sheriff's Office.
Bridge crews will close the roadway while replacing a cross pipe beneath the road. Motorists are instructed to use an alternate route and exercise extreme caution near the work zone.
The notice also advises drivers to plan ahead, use caution and drive safely during the work.
