Vance Witt is retiring as chairman of the board at BNA Bank after 58 years of leadership and service to the bank and the Northeast Mississippi community, according to the New Albany Main Street Association.
A celebration of Witt’s career is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 18, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Magnolia Civic Center. The event will recognize his tenure and career.

BNA Bank described Witt as a trusted leader, mentor and friend whose legacy will continue to affect the community for generations.
