Police in Mississippi are asking for information after a hit and run claimed the life of a Mississippi child on Saturday.
From the Hattiesburg police:
INFORMATION NEEDED: On Saturday, May 2, 2020, Hattiesburg Police responded to a report of a possible hit-and-run near J.M. Tatum Industrial Drive and Barnes Avenue around 8:30 p.m.
When officers arrived on scene, they discovered a juvenile female, and an adult female in the roadway.
The adult female was transported to a local hospital by ambulance to be treated for her injuries. The juvenile female, was deceased at the scene.
The driver in the incident did not stop at the scene.
