A semi-truck driver was killed in a crash Wednesday afternoon on Interstate 22 near Tremont in Itawamba County.
According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol, the wreck occurred in the westbound lane when the driver veered off the roadway and collided with trees. The driver’s name has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
