High temperatures across much of the Mid-South are expected to remain in the mid to upper 80s through the upcoming weekend, according to the US National Weather Service Memphis Tennessee.
The forecast follows a departure from readings in the 90s, but the weather service said temperatures of 95 degrees or higher can continue in August and early September.
