Hazardous heat will continue across the Mid-South through the weekend, with afternoon highs expected to reach the upper 90s to low 100s, according to the US National Weather Service in Memphis, Tennessee.
An areawide Heat Advisory is in effect through 8 p.m. Saturday. Residents are advised to stay hydrated and check on vulnerable neighbors.
