Last week of September expected to be warmer and drier than normal

The last week of September is expected to be warmer and drier than normal across the Midsouth, according to the U.S. National Weather Service in Memphis, Tennessee.

The forecast does not necessarily indicate a continuation of 100-degree high temperatures. Normal highs across the Midsouth at the end of the month are expected to range from 79 to 83 degrees.
