Crumbl Cookie, Little Caesars provide food to dispatchers during Telecommunicator Appreciation Week

Crumbl Cookie and Little Caesars provided food to dispatchers today, a Facebook post said, in recognition of Emergency Telecommunicator Appreciation Week.

Emergency Telecommunicator Appreciation Week is an annual observance meant to honor the work of emergency dispatchers who answer 911 calls and coordinate responses from police, fire and emergency medical services.

Dispatchers play a critical role in public safety by taking emergency calls, dispatching first responders and often providing life-saving instructions to callers before help arrives. Agencies and community partners commonly mark the week with meals, awards and other gestures of appreciation.

Crumbl Cookie is a national cookie chain and Little Caesars is an international pizza chain; both are among private-sector organizations that frequently support first responders through donations or special events. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
