Sumrall’s Bobcat community is honoring Chance Daniels this season while raising money for his family, according to the Mississippi High School Sports Page.
The community has made shirts for coaches and players, with additional shirts being sold locally. Proceeds from the sales are going directly to Daniels’ family.
Daniels’ jersey also will remain on the sideline with the team throughout the season as a reminder of his significance to the program. A GoFundMe page has been established to support his family.
