Southern Miss football venue renamed Renasant Stadium in 10-year deal
The University of Southern Mississippi and Renasant have announced a 10-year exclusive naming-rights partnership that will rename the university’s football venue Renasant Stadium. The agreement remains in effect through June 30, 2036.
The stadium was previously named M.M. Roberts Stadium, a designation adopted during renovations and an expansion completed before the 1976 season. The partnership is believed to be the first naming-rights agreement for a sporting venue on a university campus in Mississippi.
The partnership’s activation will include Renasant Stadium identification and signage, along with an annual sponsorship package featuring digital messaging, signage in premium areas and game-day activations.
Renasant Bank began in 1904 as a $100,000 bank located in a Lee County bakery, according to the announcement.
