Mississippi Valley State Athletics has scheduled a busy week featuring three volleyball matches, a home football game and competitions for its tennis and cross-country teams.
Volleyball begins Wednesday, Sept. 30, when Mississippi Valley State hosts Jackson State at 6 p.m. at the R.W. Harrison HPER Complex in Itta Bena. The Delta Devils return to the complex Friday, Oct. 2, for a 6 p.m. match against Florida A&M, then host Bethune-Cookman at noon Sunday, Oct. 4.

The football team hosts Prairie View A&M at Rice-Totten Stadium in Itta Bena on Saturday, Oct. 3. Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. for the Southwestern Athletic Conference game.
Mississippi Valley State's men's and women's tennis teams are scheduled to compete in the ITA SWAC Conference Masters in Jackson on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 2–3. The men's and women's cross-country teams also are scheduled to compete in the Belhaven Invitational in Jackson on Saturday, Oct. 3.
