The Millsaps College men's and women's swimming and diving programs opened their 2026 fall schedule with two meets over the weekend.
The teams competed Friday at the Magnolia Invitational, hosted by Delta State University at the Ronald G. Mayers Aquatics Center. Millsaps then traveled to Rhodes College on Saturday for competition at the Alburty Pool.
Jon Ross Myers founded Mississippi News Group in 2013. Before founding the organization, he worked at The Daily Mississippian, The Marion Salute and The Southern Sentinel. A Mississippi journalist and writer based in Ripley, he received second place in poetry in the 2025 William Faulkner Literary Competition for "The Garden."
