Millsaps swimming and diving teams picked seventh in SAA preseason polls

The Millsaps men's and women's swimming and diving teams were each picked to finish seventh in the 2026-27 Southern Athletic Association preseason polls, which were voted on by league coaches and announced by the SAA office. Millsaps received 18 points in both polls.

Trinity led the men's poll with 48 points and six first-place votes, followed by Centre with 40 points and one first-place vote. Rhodes was third with 37 points, Berry fourth with 34, Sewanee fifth with 28 and Southwestern sixth with 26.

Trinity also topped the women's poll, receiving 47 points and five first-place votes. Centre and Rhodes tied for second with 38 points each and one first-place vote apiece. Sewanee was fourth with 34 points, Southwestern fifth with 30 and Berry sixth with 26.

The 2027 SAA Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Championships are scheduled for Feb. 10-13 in Danville, Kentucky, hosted by Centre College.
