Mississippi rice harvest highlighted as National Rice Month ends

The Mississippi Department of Agriculture and Commerce highlighted the state’s rice harvest as National Rice Month comes to a close, drawing attention to the crop’s journey from fields to tables.

The department said Mississippi farmers work hard to grow and harvest rice and celebrated those farmers for sustaining the state’s agriculture.
