Alcorn State to Return to Campus in Phases

Alcorn State University announced on Monday that students will be phased back into traditional learning on campus over the course of the next month.

Classes for the fall semester will begin on August 17 fully online for the first three weeks of instruction. Also, student who will be residents on campus will begin to be phased in on August 15, depending on which dorm they shall reside in.

Aug. 15-16: Burrus Hall, Revel Hall 

Aug. 22-23: Robinson Hall, Honors Hall, Natchez Campus 

Aug. 29-30: Heritage Village B and D 

Sept. 6-8: Heritage Village A and C, Lott Hall 

Any student who chooses to wait until September 6-8 to return is allowed to do so by the university, regardless of what dorm they will live in.

In-person instruction will resume on September 9.
