Greenville to host voter registration event at city facilities Sept. 15, 2026

The City of Greenville will hold a National Voter Registration Day event from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sept. 15, 2026, encouraging eligible residents to register, update their information and prepare to vote.

Registration will be available at the Buster Brown Community Center, 400 E. Robertshaw St.; Greenville City Hall, 340 Main St.; and local fire stations 1, 2, 4, 5, 6 and 7.

The city is organizing the event with the Greenville Fire Department, City of Greenville Parks & Recreation and the Greenville, Mississippi, chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc.

Residents who register will have a chance to win a free gas card while supplies last. Mayor Errick D. Simmons encouraged eligible residents to ensure they are registered and ready to participate.
