Gipson urges temporary fuel tax relief as costs pressure Mississippi industries

Agriculture Commissioner Andy Gipson is calling on Mississippi state leaders to respond to rising fuel costs affecting workers, farmers and loggers, particularly during peak harvest season.

Gipson is urging officials to consider temporary fuel tax relief and other measures to ease financial strain on the state’s agricultural and timber industries.
