Three face $6M bond after Jackson robbery spree

JACKSON — Three suspects were arrested March 21 in connection with a string of armed robberies, aggravated assaults and home invasions across Jackson, police said.

Officers with Capitol Police stopped a black Honda Accord on State Street near Beasley Road after the vehicle was identified in a “be on the lookout” alert issued by the Jackson Police Department tied to multiple violent crimes reported over several days, authorities said. Investigators believe the suspects were responsible for at least three robberies, including two incidents involving four Hispanic male victims and another involving two Indian victims in Precincts 1 and 2.

The occupants of the vehicle were taken into custody, interviewed by detectives and later appeared before a municipal court judge. Each was issued a $6 million bond.

Police identified the suspects as Daja Logan, 23, who faces two counts each of armed robbery, conspiracy, home invasion, aggravated assault, accessory before the fact and accessory after the fact; Curtavious Simpson, 34, who faces four counts of armed robbery, three counts of aggravated assault and two counts of home invasion; and Graig Bradley, 27, who faces four counts of armed robbery, three counts of aggravated assault and two counts of home invasion.
