Starkville parking officer earns Walk-On’s Officer of Month honor

The Starkville Police Department congratulated Parking Officer Curtis White after he was named Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux Officer of the Month for March, the department said in a Facebook post.

The Starkville Police Department is the municipal law enforcement agency serving Starkville, Mississippi, including areas around Mississippi State University. Parking officers enforce parking regulations, assist motorists and help manage parking around events, duties that support public safety and traffic flow in the community.

Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux is a restaurant chain that has sponsored or recognized community members in various locales; the department’s post did not provide further details about the selection process or any accompanying recognition. The department offered its congratulations publicly but did not provide additional comments on White’s duties or accomplishments in the post.
