Southaven police on Facebook asked the public Tuesday to be on the lookout for 15-year-old Gracie Hood, who was reported missing after being seen near Southaven Middle School at approximately 3:15 p.m.
The Southaven Police Department said Hood is a white female, 5-foot-5 and 175 pounds, with dark blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a black sweater, gray sweatpants, black Crocs and had her hair in space buns.
The department, which provides law enforcement services for the city of Southaven in DeSoto County, Mississippi, urged anyone with information to contact the Southaven Police Department at 662-393-8652 or email tips@southaven.org. Police did not provide additional details in the post.
