Mississippi agency introduces Master Sgt. Fry in training division video

A Mississippi law enforcement agency posted a short Facebook Reel Tuesday introducing Master Sgt. Fry, who is identified as a member of the agency’s Training Division.

The post, shared with the hashtags #Mississippi and #lawenforcement, invites the public to learn more about personnel who train and prepare officers. It did not provide additional details about Fry’s duties or tenure.

Training divisions in police and sheriff’s offices typically oversee recruit instruction, in-service education and certification, and tactical and safety training. Agencies often use such outreach to highlight professional development efforts, build community trust and encourage potential recruits to consider careers in law enforcement.

The brief social media introduction underscores a growing trend among law enforcement agencies to use video and other digital tools for transparency and recruitment. The agency did not offer further information in the post. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
