TUPELO, Miss. — Senior Circuit Judge Paul S. Funderburk on Aug. 18 sentenced Will Orlando Hadley to 40 years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections for trafficking methamphetamine in Lee County, with 28 years suspended, leaving 12 years to serve day-for-day, the District Attorney’s Office said.
Hadley will not be eligible for parole or early release, and upon his release he must complete five years of post-release supervision, the office said.
The investigation was led by the North Mississippi Narcotics Unit with assistance from the Tupelo Police Department and the Tupelo Fire Department, the District Attorney’s Office said. The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Megan French on behalf of the state.
Jason D. Herring, district attorney for the First Circuit Court District, expressed appreciation for the coordinated efforts of the agencies involved to disrupt the narcotics trade in the community, the news release said.
