Jackson police seek 13-year-old runaway
The Jackson Police Department is seeking 13-year-old Manuel Clarence Palmer, the department said in a Facebook post. Palmer is believed to be a runaway and was last seen wearing a blue shirt, black shorts and black slides.
Authorities asked anyone with information about the juvenile’s whereabouts to contact the Jackson Police Department at 601-960-1800 or 769-209-7439. The department did not provide additional details in the post.
Runaway cases can place minors at increased risk of exploitation, injury or exposure, and police agencies typically urge prompt reporting and public assistance to help locate missing youths. The Jackson Police Department is the municipal agency responsible for investigating missing-person reports and coordinating community searches.
