Investigators attend Mississippi Gaming Commission law enforcement luncheon
Several investigators from an unnamed agency attended a Mississippi Gaming Commission Law Enforcement Luncheon last week in Robinsonville, the agency said in a Facebook post.
The post said the agency appreciated opportunities to meet with counterparts at the local, state and federal levels to discuss common issues. The agency also thanked the Mississippi Gaming Commission for hosting the luncheon.
The Mississippi Gaming Commission regulates the state’s casinos and gaming operations, overseeing licensing and enforcement. Events that bring together law enforcement and regulatory officials allow agencies to share information, coordinate enforcement efforts and address issues such as compliance, public safety and potential criminal activity linked to gaming operations.
Robinsonville is in Tunica County in northern Mississippi, an area home to several casino resorts. The agency did not provide additional details about attendees or specific topics discussed. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
