Hospital provides lunch to Sheriff’s Office for Police Appreciation Week
The Sheriff’s Office thanked Northwest Regional Medical Center for providing lunch to deputies and staff in honor of Police Appreciation Week, the office said on its Facebook page.
Northwest Regional Medical Center is a regional hospital that serves the surrounding community and provides emergency, inpatient and outpatient care. The facility’s gesture reflects a local health care provider recognizing law enforcement personnel during a week dedicated to appreciation of police service.
Community acknowledgments such as donated meals are often aimed at boosting morale among public safety personnel and strengthening ties between local institutions and law enforcement. Observances like Police Appreciation Week are intended to recognize the work and sacrifices of officers and support staff.
The Sheriff’s Office wrote on Facebook, “Your kindness means a great deal to all of us,” and said it appreciated the hospital’s generosity and support. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
