The post used tags referring to the National Center for Missing and Endangered Inc. and to national missing-person efforts. It did not provide further details about the circumstances of the disappearance, the identity of the person beyond the hashtag, or who confirmed the person was located.
Amber Alert is a public notification system used in the United States to solicit help from the public in locating abducted children; organizations and social media can amplify alerts and updates.
