Crime Stoppers, Lee County Sheriff seek ID of person linked to Mooreville theft
Crime Stoppers of Northeast Mississippi and the Lee County Sheriff’s Department are asking the public to help identify an individual shown in a photograph who is linked to a theft in the Mooreville area, the group said in a Facebook post.
Officials asked anyone with information to submit an anonymous tip through the P3 Tip App after saying their 800 number is temporarily down. Crime Stoppers of Northeast Mississippi said tips submitted via the app can qualify for a cash reward.
Crime Stoppers is offering up to $2,000 cash for a tip that leads to an arrest, the Facebook post said. The organization noted it does not want callers’ names, only information that could help investigators.
Crime Stoppers programs generally encourage anonymous community reporting and offer rewards to assist law enforcement in solving crimes. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
