Organizers for a group identified as the Commodores thanked community members for recent donations and asked for continued support in a Facebook post.
The post said volunteers have compiled a list of food and basic items to help support the Commodores over the next few weeks and that drop-off information is coming soon. It directed people to the post’s comments for a list of contacts who can accept donations.
The message also listed Venmo and PayPal donations as options and gave the handle @CommodoresCare for contributions. Community-driven drives like this typically aim to provide short-term essentials such as food, toiletries and other basic supplies to members of a local group or team.
The organizers expressed gratitude to donors and encouraged anyone who can help to contribute through drop-offs or online payments. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
