Biloxi posts brief notice, photos on Facebook

Biloxi posted a series of photos on its official Facebook page accompanied only by the word “FYI,” the citys social media account shows.

The post did not include further explanation or details about the images. The City of Biloxi, a coastal municipality on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, regularly uses social media to share information with residents about city services, public meetings, roadwork, safety notices and community events.

Short, image-based posts can serve as quick alerts or previews, prompting residents to seek additional information from official channels such as the city website, police department or public works office. Without a caption or context, however, such posts may leave residents uncertain about whether action is required.

City officials did not provide additional details in the post. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
