The Biloxi Police Department said in a Facebook post that its officers work around the clock to serve and protect residents and visitors of the city.
The department said officers are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to respond to emergencies, help keep traffic flowing and work to maintain public safety. The post described the force’s work as driven by dedication, professionalism and commitment to the community.
Biloxi is a coastal city on Mississippi’s Gulf Coast with a sizable tourism industry, including beaches, casinos and other attractions. Local police play a central role in ensuring safety for both year-round residents and the many visitors who come for recreation and events.
