Authorities seek missing 16-year-old Evan Drummond

Authorities are asking for the public’s help locating 16-year-old runaway Evan Drummond, according to a Facebook post seeking information on his whereabouts.

The post said Drummond is a white male with purple hair, approximately 5’5″ tall and weighing about 120 lbs. He was last seen walking in the area of Jackson Landing Road and South Beech Street wearing a white hoodie and dark pants.

Anyone who sees Drummond or knows his whereabouts is asked to contact dispatch at 601-749-5482. Law enforcement and community agencies commonly turn to social media and public tips in missing juvenile cases because timely information can be crucial to ensuring a young person’s safety.

Runaway juveniles are considered vulnerable to a range of risks, and authorities typically follow leads provided by the public while coordinating welfare checks and investigations. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
