The University of Mississippi Medical Center has been named No. 2 on Forbes’ 2026 list of America’s Best Employers for Healthcare Professionals, according to UMMC.
The recognition places Mississippi’s only academic medical center among the nation’s top health care workplaces. UMMC said the honor reflects the work of its physicians, nurses, researchers, educators and support staff in patient care, education and research.
