Shiloh earns pharmacy technician license after completing adult education program

Shiloh enrolled in Smart Start Professional Development in November 2024 and joined the Gateway Youth Program while completing the class. She also helped classmates catch up on assignments and came in on a day off to study with another student for part of the HSE exam; that student passed.

After completing Smart Start, Shiloh continued into Adult Education and earned her High School Equivalency diploma on Dec. 11, 2024. She then worked as a student administrative assistant at the WIN Job Center while pursuing opportunities in pharmacy.

A part-time position with Walmart Pharmacy became the beginning of a career path. Shiloh earned her Pharmacy Technician license on Feb. 28, 2026, and is now a pharmacy technician at the Corinth Walmart Pharmacy.

The account said Shiloh faced personal and family challenges but chose to continue working toward her goals, with support from her family and a commitment to building the future she wanted.
