Sheriff Jones donates school supplies to McComb credit union
Sheriff Bryant “Wally” Jones donated school supplies to Magnolia Federal Credit Union in McComb to be distributed to local schools, the Pike County Sheriff’s Office said. The donation is intended to help students prepare for the upcoming school year.
“Every child deserves the opportunity to begin the school year prepared and confident,” Jones said, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office. The office said the supplies will be given to area schools to ensure students have essential tools for learning.
Jones thanked Magnolia Federal Credit Union for partnering in the effort to support local students and families. The sheriff’s office said the collaboration aims to strengthen schools and communities across Pike County.
The Pike County Sheriff’s Office Public Relations Department provided a photograph of the credit union employees accepting the supplies. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
