Northeast graduate advances to quality engineering role with Hago Automotive

Jaxson Laster, one of the first graduates of Northeast Mississippi Community College’s Logistics Management Technology program, has taken a quality engineering position with Hago Automotive, according to the college.

His role is Quality Engineer | Program Launch & PPAP. Through his education and an apprenticeship with Hago Automotive, Laster gained hands-on industry experience, including a six-week international apprenticeship exchange in Germany.

Northeast said its career and technical programs are designed to prepare students for workplace applications through hands-on training, industry partnerships and experiences that connect classroom learning with career opportunities.

The college described Laster’s career progression as an example of the outcomes it sees when students receive preparation and opportunities to advance.
