Mario and Katina Oneal, along with Tianna Miller, provided lunch for the BMS football team, according to the Baldwyn School District. Katina Oneal also brought encouragement and energy to the team, the district said.

A Mississippi journalist and writer based in Ripley, he received second place in poetry in the 2025 William Faulkner Literary Competition for "The Garden."
