Tupelo man charged with grand larceny in vehicle theft case

Tupelo police arrested Brandon M. Bell, 37, on Dec. 11, on a charge of grand larceny, officials said. The arrest stems from an incident on Sept. 17, when a victim reported their vehicle was stolen after being left on the side of Highway 45 near the Main Street exit, according to authorities.

Police investigated and identified Bell as a suspect. Judge Allen of the Tupelo Municipal Court set Bell’s bond at $3,500 during the hearing on Dec. 11. The case will be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury, police said.
