Columbus and MUW police host Golden Triangle violent crimes task force meeting

The Columbus Police Department and Mississippi University for Women Police Department jointly hosted the monthly meeting of the Golden Triangle Violent Crimes Task Force, according to the Columbus Police Department.

Law enforcement agencies from across the Golden Triangle attended to share information, strengthen communication and coordinate efforts to address violent crime in the region. The Columbus Police Department said the agencies’ partnerships help combine resources, support one another and work toward safer communities.

The department also said it works with local, state and federal law enforcement partners as it continues protecting the communities it serves.
