The Vicksburg Police Department responded to 511 calls for service in Vicksburg from Sept. 4 through Sept. 7, 2026, during the Labor Day weekend, according to the department.
During that period, officers took 91 reports, made 32 arrests and issued 111 citations.
The department thanked its personnel who worked throughout the holiday weekend and credited residents who celebrated responsibly with helping make the weekend safe and enjoyable in Vicksburg.
