The Annual Celebration of Cultures is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 20, 2026, at The Depot in downtown Tupelo, according to an announcement from the City of Tupelo – Mayor's Office.
The event is set for 2 to 5 p.m. The announcement describes it as free family fun.
Jon Ross Myers founded Mississippi News Group in 2013. Before founding the organization, he worked at The Daily Mississippian, The Marion Salute and The Southern Sentinel. A Mississippi journalist and writer based in Ripley, he received second place in poetry in the 2025 William Faulkner Literary Competition for "The Garden."
