Tunica County sheriff’s office to hold 11th charity golf tournament

The Tunica County Sheriff's Office will hold its 11th annual Charity Golf Tournament on Friday, Oct. 16, 2026, at Tunica National Golf & Tennis. Proceeds will benefit Le Bonheur Children's Hospital, helping support care for children and families treated there.

The tournament’s 2026 honoree is Kenleigh D'Nari Hibbler, who was born May 13, 2025, weighing 1 pound, 11 ounces. She was immediately placed on a breathing tube and oxygen and was diagnosed with birth defects that some doctors believed Le Bonheur would not be able to treat. During the pregnancy, her mother was advised to terminate.

Kenleigh received care at Le Bonheur from birth for the next 10 months. She is now home and thriving, remains on a ventilator at its lowest settings with barely any additional oxygen, and can say “HI” and gesture “yes” and “no.”

Her parents say Kenleigh has been their biggest blessing and that, because of Le Bonheur, they are grateful to share her story. The sheriff’s office said the tournament is intended to support future children and families receiving care at the hospital.

The community has raised more than $100,000 for Le Bonheur through the tournament over the years. People can participate by registering a team, sponsoring the tournament, making a donation or sharing Kenleigh’s story.
