Senior Safety Bingo Bash set for Wednesday in Nesbit

DeSoto County Government is hosting a Senior Safety Bingo Bash: Rodeo Edition on Wednesday, Sept. 23, at the DeSoto County Agri-Education Center in Nesbit. Doors open at 8 a.m., bingo begins at 9 a.m., and the event ends at noon.

The free event is open to the community and will include bingo, prizes, free resources, giveaways and interactive safety demonstrations. Topics include spotting scams, protecting personal information, identifying AI-generated content and using technology safely.

The center is located at 1170 Starlanding Road W. Cowboy attire is encouraged, and attendees may be named Best Dressed Cowboy or Cowgirl.
