Oxford police welcome two University of Mississippi journalism interns
The Oxford Police Department is welcoming Hailey Hobson and Dacey Leonard as public information interns for the fall 2026 semester.
The two University of Mississippi School of Journalism and New Media students will work alongside the department’s Public Information Office to help tell the story of OPD, highlight the work of its officers and staff, and connect with the community.
The department said it is looking forward to the creativity and fresh perspective Hobson and Leonard will bring to the team.
